  • 500 grams of minced meat,
  • 1 large carrot,
  • 1 large onion,
  • 2 tomatoes
  • cheese (to taste),

Recipe for stuffed nests.

Wash the onions, carrots and tomatoes and remove the skin.

Pour some vegetable oil into the frying pan and let it heat up.

Cut the onion into cubes, grate the carrots, and cut the tomatoes into cubes.

Place the vegetables in a heated frying pan and fry a little.

Add the minced meat, mix everything well, add salt and pepper and simmer until tender under the lid over low heat.

You can add a few cloves of garlic and any seasonings to your taste, for example, basil, oregano, herbes de Provence.

As you can see, we have almost Bolognese sauce.

Let's cook tagliatelle. Take a pan with a large diameter bottom, place the nests on the bottom in one layer, pour boiling water over it, add a teaspoon of vegetable oil, and add salt. Put it on the fire and cook for 7 minutes (cooking time is indicated on the package).

Carefully remove the nests.

Be sure to make this original dish for your next family dinner. We are sure that such a culinary masterpiece will surprise both adults and children.

We suggest preparing an unusual second course, which, together with a side dish, is served in separate portions in the form of pasta nests stuffed with minced meat, under a baked cheese crust.

Such pasta preparations are sold in any supermarket, but even if you couldn’t find them, don’t despair and boil regular noodles, giving it the desired shape when placing it on a baking sheet. You can use minced meat according to your taste: beef, pork, chicken, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 200-250 g minced meat
  • 4 pcs. pasta nests
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 50 g hard cheese
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

1. Peel the onion. Wash and cut into cubes. Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan or frying pan. Heat it until hot. Pour in the onion slices and add the minced meat. Salt and pepper to taste. At this stage you can add your favorite seasonings. Mix everything together and fry over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown.

2. Place the pasta pieces in a saucepan or saucepan and pour in boiling water. Add a little salt and place the container on the stove, boiling them for about 10-12 minutes.

3. Remove the boiled “nests” with tongs and place them on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. Gently pull apart the center of each nest.

4. Then add 1.5 tbsp. l. add fried meat filling to the center of each boiled piece. If you wish, you can break a quail egg into minced meat, if you have them in stock.

5. Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater and sprinkle it over the minced meat. Move the baking sheet to the oven and bake the dish for about 5-10 minutes at 200C.

6. It is necessary that the cheese melts and bakes.

7. Serve the finished dish hot, sprinkled with chopped herbs or green onions.

Note to the hostess

1. As soon as the pasta nests are immersed in boiling water, you should move them slightly with a plastic spatula, prying them from below. They sometimes get soldered to the bottom. Then they are easy to tear off, but the lower part will definitely become deformed, causing the entire structure to fall apart.

2. In the description of the culinary process, it is suggested to break a quail egg into each portion before baking. This is an interesting idea, but the chef's imagination is limitless. He can place a small boiled egg in the shell on the edge of the nest. The delicious composition will look very realistic. It will be appreciated by adult gourmets and young aesthetes; children will develop an appetite following their curiosity.

3. You must strictly adhere to the time specified for the last stage of preparation: 10 minutes is the limit. If cheese shavings sit in the oven for too long, they will look like brown rubber. Its taste also deteriorates.

4. Supermarkets sell rice noodle nests - Korean and Chinese. After boiling, their color is not as yellow and expressive as that of wheat vermicelli, but birds are different, some build unusual light houses. When you get tired of familiar products, it’s time to turn to overseas ones. Let the remaining components remain unchanged - it will turn out great.

Today I want to bring to your attention a festive and everyday recipe. These are meat nests made from minced meat stuffed with tomatoes and cheese. The oven-baked dish is very tasty and beautiful. It will be able to please the eye and satisfy the gastronomic preferences of both the average eater and the true gourmet. Try making these meat “cheesecakes” yourself, I’m sure your guests will be delighted.

Let's decide on the main ingredients:

  • minced meat – 700 grams;
  • onions - 1 large onion;
  • chicken egg – 2 pieces;
  • cheese – 150 grams;
  • sour cream – 1 tablespoon;
  • tomato – 1 piece;
  • salt – 1 teaspoon;
  • pepper mixture – 1 teaspoon.

How to cook minced meat nests in the oven

The meat component of the dish is minced pork. It can be easily replaced with pork-beef or chicken-pork.

Peel the onion, cut into large pieces and chop in a food processor. If you make minced meat from pieces of meat, then the onion can also be passed through a meat grinder.

Add chopped onion, salt, a mixture of peppers and a chicken egg to the minced meat.

Mix everything well.

Break the egg into a separate plate.

Add a tablespoon of sour cream and grated cheese.

Add salt to taste to the sauce and mix everything.

Cut one large tomato into slices 4-5 millimeters thick.

Divide the minced meat in a bowl into equal parts with a knife, and then form balls of the same size from each. From each piece we make a meat cheesecake with sides 1 centimeter high.

We put a slice of tomato into the nests.

Put cheese sauce on the tomato.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook the dish at a temperature of 200-220 degrees for 45 minutes. Meat protein will leak out of the raw minced meat onto the baking sheet and curl, so the baking sheet should be covered with baking parchment.

Place the finished nests on portioned plates and serve with fresh vegetables or any other side dish.

The oven-baked dish turns out very juicy and tender.

In principle, due to the fact that the filling contains a fairly thick piece of tomato, no additional one is required. Decide for yourself what to serve with, baked with tomato and cheese.
