9. The most delicate cottage cheese casserole without flour and without semolina

This casserole is a real cloud of cheese! With a minimum of calories - maximum pleasure!))

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 250 grams (adjust fat content to taste)
  • milk or cream - 100-150 ml (depending on the moisture content of the cottage cheese)
  • 2 eggs
  • sugar - 2 tablespoons or to taste
  • vanillin (or your other favorite spices)
  • butter for greasing the pan

Preparation:

Separate the whites from the yolks.

Beat cottage cheese with milk, sugar, spices and yolks in a container with a submersible blender.

Beat until all grains of cottage cheese disappear. The mass turns out like thick sour cream.

Separately, beat the whites to peaks. Carefully fold the whites into the curd mass.

You can, of course, not separate the whites from the yolks, but beat everything together - it will also be tasty, but not so tender.

With this option, the casserole turns out to be the most tender, just like a soufflé.

Place in a greased pan and bake in an oven preheated to 160-170 degrees for about 35 minutes.
Cool completely and cut into portions.

The casserole itself turns out delicious. But if you wish, you can make it with cinnamon, raisins and berries, oranges or bananas, top it with fruit sauce, jam or honey.

Or you can experiment more thoroughly with additional ingredients. For example, add grated raw carrots and finely chopped dried apricots.

You can prepare it in one large form, or you can try it in small ones - like for cupcakes.
You will get mini casseroles))

How to cook a delicious cottage cheese casserole - cooking secrets

To make the dish tasty, you need to know some subtleties:

  • Before adding dried fruits, they must be soaked in hot water. Otherwise they may be harsh.
  • Before adding fresh fruits to the cottage cheese, they need to be fried in a frying pan. This will help remove excess juice and the casserole will have the desired consistency.
  • Eggs do not need to be laid whole. The whites must be whipped separately with the addition of salt to a strong foam. Grind the yolks with cottage cheese and only then combine both compositions.
  • There is no need to make a layer of cottage cheese too thick. Otherwise it won't bake well.
  • The mold must be greased with oil and sprinkled with semolina or breadcrumbs.
  • If the cottage cheese is a little runny, you can add a little starch to it. But be careful not to dry out the product.
  • Before adding semolina, it must be soaked in warm water. The longer it sits, the better.
  • If you need to increase the calorie content of the cottage cheese casserole, then semolina should be replaced with flour. And vice versa.
