  • Pink salmon in own juice(canned food) – 1 b.
  • Ground cornflakes(not sweet!) or crackers - for decorating the cake
  • Greens (I used frozen) chopped

My cooking method:

1. Prepare the dough and bake pancakes, making them slightly thicker than usual. There is no need to grease them with butter for the cake.


2. Rub on coarse grater cheese and mix it with mayonnaise
3. Chop the eggs and mix them with mayonnaise
4. Mash pink salmon with a fork and mix with juice
5. Place layers on a flat plate:

  • Two more pancakes
  • ½ part pink salmon

  • Two more pancakes
  • ½ part eggs with mayonnaise

  • We repeat the layers again, in the same sequence from the remaining filling!

6. Grease the top pancake generously with mayonnaise and sprinkle with ground corn flakes (not sweet) or breadcrumbs and herbs


7. Place in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 hours to soak

How to make pancake snack cake:

So, today (if you remember) we are preparing a pancake snack cake with chicken. And it would be more correct to say, with chicken pate. I would like to apologize right away for not taking pictures of the entire process of making this original and very tasty snack cake. Yes, you can do it easily without a photo, because everything is very simple.

First of all, let's put it to boil chicken fillet. You can salt the water in which you will cook the chicken and add your favorite spices. Onion, peel and wash the carrots. Chop the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the onions and carrots until tender over low heat. Then cool.

While the onions and carrots are cooling and the chicken is cooking, we will start baking pancakes. The recipe is for one pancake, but for a snack cake we need 5 pancakes. You can make the so-called “dough” for 5 pancakes at once, or you can knead it for each pancake separately. Do whatever is more convenient for you.

I kneaded one pancake, and while it was frying, I immediately kneaded the second one, and so on. Take a bowl, break an egg into it, pour in milk, add flour, salt, stir with a whisk or a simple fork. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, pour in the egg mixture, fry on both sides until cooked.
