3 cups of rice;
2 small onions;
5 cloves of garlic;
7 tbsp raisins;
300 almonds or walnuts;
200 g butter (vegetable or butter);

Cooking process
Melt a few tablespoons of butter in a large frying pan or cauldron, fry finely chopped onion on it until transparent, add garlic;

This is a very unconventional type of lasagna, for which the sauce is very important. It is he who gives the dish the necessary piquancy and richness. The dish is quick and easy to prepare, and on the festive table it will be more than appropriate.
Ingredients:
3 packs of lasagna;
300 ml of olive oil;
200 g butter;
300 g of Parmesan cheese;
500 g walnuts;
9 cloves of garlic;
300 g breadcrumbs.

Cooking process:
Drop the nuts in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain the water, peel the nuts and chop, mixing with garlic and breadcrumbs(should be a coarse paste)
Add olive oil while continuing to whip the mass. You should get a homogeneous sauce. Add salt and pepper to it to taste;
Boil the lasagne sheets in water until half cooked (do not drain the water). Prepare baking dishes by greasing them with butter (at least two forms will be required for this amount of dish). I will show you how I organized this process for my husband's birthday.

Initially, we decided that we would celebrate this day together in a restaurant, but later my husband said that he would just like to sit with friends and drink beer ... and this is at home ... tomorrow. Does it happen to you? In 5 minutes, the men decided that the restaurant was canceled, and long live the homemade feast. Shock? Stress? No, absolutely.

We specify the number of guests: together with us, we got 6 adults and 2 children. So the menu I counted on this number of people.

If you have more time, it means more opportunity to plan everything carefully and correctly, but if you don’t have it, as in my case, just stop for a few minutes and think about what the people who come to visit you like. I know that two of the guests do not eat liver, two more seafood, etc., so these dishes on the table are not desirable. It is probably impossible to take into account all tastes and preferences, but what guests do not eat for sure is not worth cooking. And vice versa, if you know for sure that your guests love some of your dishes very much, they always eat it first, be sure to cook it!

I don’t really bother with the compatibility of dishes, I cook what I am sure of. Just because it's a beer party doesn't mean there won't be cake or light snack. Less conventions, unless you have to meet some ambassador.

Previously, my menu did not always fit on one sheet. Three salads, three types of sandwiches, 3-4 appetizers, etc. Naturally, all this remained after the holiday and disappeared. What for? To show what a good hostess I am? This is superfluous, my guests already know it :)

I making a shopping list based on the ingredients of the recipes I need. After reviewing all the ingredients, I write out only what I don’t have at home, immediately indicating how many grams, kilograms, etc. I need one or the other. My list this time looked like this:

It really saves time - you only wash the grater, board and knife after this product, not 3-4.

You can also do with cheese and other products. At this stage, I also cook mushrooms so that I no longer have to be distracted by snacks.

I think that for the holiday it is better to bake intricate pancakes in the form of snowflakes. This is done quite simply. Pour the bulk of the pancake into the middle of the pan, and, turning it slightly, let the dough spread a little.

Meat rolls with cucumber and mustard.

Products:
- pork 400 grams;
- pickled cucumbers 2 pcs.;
- red onion 1 pc.;
- mustard grains 2 tbsp. spoons;
- salt pepper;
- flour for breading.

Cooking:
Cut the meat into thin plates, cover with a film and beat well, salt and pepper. Cucumbers and red onion cut into strips. Put grain mustard, pieces of cucumbers and onions on each piece of meat.

Herring under a fur coat in a roll

Products:

- herring - 1 pc.;
- potatoes - 4 pcs.;
- carrot - 1 pc.;
- beets - 1 pc.;
- mayonnaise - 200 g;
- bow - 1 pc.;
- vinegar for pickling onions.

Cooking:
Pre-cut the onion arbitrarily and marinate in vinegar for 2-3 hours. But you can put raw, at your discretion.

Boil potatoes, carrots and beets, cool, peel and grate on a fine grater or cut into small cubes.

Peel the herring, separate from the bones, cut into small pieces.

It is better to squeeze the beets through gauze to remove excess moisture. If your carrots are also juicy, then it is better to squeeze it out.

To make a roll, we spread cling film on the table, a cut plastic bag or foil, whoever has what. Mix the beets with mayonnaise and spread evenly on the film. Cover again with clingfilm and tamp the layer well. Remove this top film. You can salt the beets a little. Try to make each subsequent layer slightly narrower in width than the previous one. We do the same with carrots, only now we smear them on beets. The third layer - potatoes with mayonnaise, is smeared on carrots, respectively. Don't forget to salt it. Next, put the onion, if you pickled it, then you need to let it drain so that it is not too wet. And the last layer is herring. It is better to lay it not over the entire surface of the roll, but with a long log in the middle. We tamp all layers in the same way with the help of cling film.

Gently roll the roll around the herring log. We tamp the edges well. We wrap in the same film. We put the snack in the refrigerator, until the arrival of guests. Before serving, remove the film and cut into portioned pieces.

Products:
- 100-200 gr. ham or any boiled sausage;
- 100 gr. any cheese or fatty cottage cheese, it must be salted;
