Using kefir made from sourdough, I made a very tasty jellied pie stuffed with saury and fried onions - it was delicious! The pie is ready in literally 5 minutes - that’s how long it takes to prepare the ingredients, and I baked it in a slow cooker on the “Baking” mode for another 45 minutes. As a result, the whole family enjoyed a delicious pie, prepared in less than an hour. I advise everyone, by the way, you can make another filling - the main thing here is the dough on good kefir, better - homemade, as in my case. It turns out more magnificent - checked!

  • flour, 2 cups.
  • onion, 2 pieces
  • egg, 2 pieces
  • vegetable oil, 3 tbsp. l.
  • baking powder, 1 tsp.
  • saury, 1 ban.

A few words about preparation homemade kefir with Orsik’s starter: everything is simple - I sterilized the jar with boiling water, poured in milk at room temperature, poured in the starter, mixed thoroughly, put it in a thermos yogurt maker, kept it in a warm place near the radiator for 10 hours, wrapping the whole structure in a warm blanket.

Mix kefir with eggs, add a pinch of salt and vegetable oil, beat everything at low mixer speed.

I poured two-thirds of the dough into the multicooker bowl (I greased it a little with oil), and placed the fish mixed with onions on top.

This is how the pie turned out: juicy, tasty, tender. If you like a crispy crust on both sides, then you need to turn the pie over and bake it in the slow cooker for another 10 minutes on the same setting to brown the other side. Delicious and very simple pie!

The pie turned out very tasty, satisfying, and the aroma filled the whole house. There are a lot of options for preparing dough for the pie; I chose a less fatty one - with kefir.

  • saury in its own juice - 1 can;
  • potatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • kefir - 1 glass;
  • fresh chicken egg - 1 pc.;
  • salt - 0.5 tsp;
  • flour - 1 glass;
  • baking soda - 0.5 tsp;
  • sunflower oil - for greasing the baking sheet.

Prepare the dough. Mix the egg and salt, mix thoroughly.

Pour in kefir. I used 1% fat kefir (I’m always on a diet, this is the only one I have in the refrigerator =)). You can use more fat content.

Mix soda with flour and add to the resulting mass.

Mix thoroughly, the dough should turn out like pancakes, a little thicker, so that it lazily slides off the spoon. Ready dough place in the refrigerator while the pie filling is prepared.

Prepare the filling:
- chop the onion (you don’t have to chop it);

- rub on coarse grater carrot;

— sauté onions and carrots in a frying pan with sunflower oil;

- mash the saury with a fork;

- Peel the potatoes and cut into circles. After preparing the filling, turn on the oven to 200 degrees.

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and stir.

Pour half of the dough into a greased baking dish and distribute it evenly. The layers of the pie can be laid out in any order as you like.

Place carrots and onions.

Place potatoes on top and salt them (a pinch of salt is enough).

Place saury (do not add salt).

Pour the remaining dough over the filling, spreading it evenly.

The oven has warmed up, it's time to bake a delicious cake. 30 minutes at 200 degrees, then reduce the heat to 160 degrees and bake for 10 minutes. Determine the readiness of the dough using a toothpick (pierce the pie in several places, there should be no sticky dough left on it).
