    How to cook dumplings from semolina

    Boil milk. Add salt.

    We will need:

    • a liter of meat, fish, chicken, mushroom or vegetable broth or milk (or 500 g of raw materials for making broth and 1.5 liters of water);
    • 1 carrot;
    • 1 onion;
    • a little vegetable or butter for frying;
    • 1 chicken egg;
    • 2.5 tbsp decoys;
    • 1 tsp butter;
    • salt.

    Let's start cooking a delicious soup with semolina dumplings:

    1. If there is no broth, we will cook: pour meat, fish or vegetables with water, salt. After boiling, reduce the heat and remove the foam. We will cook for 30-60 minutes. Proceed.

    What will we need?

    • semolina (160 g);
    • strong meat broth (two and a half liters);
    • table salt;
    • semolina (160 g);
    • freshly ground allspice or black pepper;

    • green onion feathers;
    • boiled carrots of medium size (one piece).

    1. First you need to prepare semolina custard dumplings, and for this you need to boil 200 ml of strong meat broth, add butter in the required amount, add semolina (150 g) in a very thin stream with continuous and necessarily intensive stirring. Once again, mix everything intensively, prepare a dough that resembles plasticine, and if it sticks to your hands, then you need to add a little more semolina.
    2. Semolina dough should be rolled out, then stars should be cut out of it using a special form.
    3. Boil the remaining meat broth, throw in semolina dumplings and wait until they float, and the whole process should take no more than seven minutes.
    4. As soon as the dumplings are cooked, put them on a separate dish, and pour all the chopped greens into the pan, add seasonings, freshly ground pepper in a small amount and table salt.
    5. Pour the soup into serving bowls and put a certain amount of semolina custard dumplings in them.

    Recipe number 2 - Hearty chicken soup with semolina dumplings.

    The next dish that I want to offer you has a few more ingredients in its composition. This soup will turn out more satisfying and rich due to the greater number of vegetables.
    To prepare a dish such as chicken soup with semolina dumplings, you will need a set of the following ingredients:

    • small leek (one piece);
    • chicken fillet (two separate halves or one whole);
    • bay leaf (two pieces);
    • medium-sized carrots (two pieces);
    • allspice;
    • black pepper, salt (to your taste);
    • vegetable oil deodorized for frying;
    • filtered water (three liters);
    • medium-sized potato tubers (five pieces).

    In addition, you will need a specific list of ingredients for making semolina dumplings:

    • chicken egg (one piece);
    • semolina (110 g);
    • butter (21 g);
    • vegetable or chicken strong broth (110 ml)
    1. To begin with, you should prepare the broth, moreover, chicken is better, and for this you need to put two halves of chicken fillet in a saucepan, pour the required amount of filtered water, add whole peeled carrots, half a leek, bay leaf, table salt, and allspice.
    2. As soon as the chicken fillet is completely cooked, it should be pulled out of the pan, then the broth must be filtered. As for the chicken fillet, it must first be cut into portions, then returned to the pan.
    3. Grate the boiled carrots on a grater with the smallest holes, finely chop the leek.
    4. In vegetable oil, cook the frying, salt everything and pepper quite a bit. Cut the pre-peeled potatoes into small cubes, after which you can start cooking dumplings, and for this you need to combine the required amount of broth, butter and semolina in one container.
    5. From all the above components, brew the dough, knead it by adding one chicken egg, then make small balls and put them in chicken broth.
    6. As soon as the semolina dumplings begin to float, add the frying to the chicken soup, wait until the contents of the pan boil and then turn off the stove.
